DVLA seeks FCA-regulated prime contractor for debt collection services.
The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) is conducting preliminary market engagement for a future procurement of debt collection services. The requirement involves a prime contractor, FCA regulated, to manage a panel of subcontracted debt collection agencies (DCAs) for recovering outstanding debts from DVLA's statutory functions. Services include enrichment, segmentation, continuous improvement, management reporting, customer contact, signposting for vulnerable customers, and resolution of debts or payment plans. DVLA currently outsources 60k-70k placements per month with up to 18-month placement periods. Sub-contracting or consortium bidding is welcome.
