VA seeks radiation physics support for Salem VAMC.
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 6, is soliciting radiation physics support services for the Salem VA Medical Center in Virginia. The contractor will provide medical physics services including radiation safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance for radiation oncology equipment. The contract requires personnel with board certification in therapeutic radiological physics and experience with Varian linear accelerators and brachytherapy. The period of performance is one base year plus four option years, with services to be performed on-site at the Salem VAMC.
