Home Office pre-market engagement for QAT contracts up to £150m.
The UK Home Office is conducting pre-market engagement for upcoming Quality Assurance and Testing (QAT) contracts, consolidating existing services into two core testing capability contracts by Autumn 2027. Each contract is expected to have a minimum 3-year term with a maximum spend of £150m including extensions. The procurement will likely use the GCA Dynamic Purchasing System (RM6148), but engagement is open to all suppliers. Key topics include route to market, transition approach, KPIs, cost drivers, innovation/AI, roles, tooling, SME barriers, and transformation from Programme SDLC to Product SDLC and from QA to Quality Engineering. An in-person event will be held on 27 July at TechUK London, with a subsequent RFI issued to interested suppliers.
