Transport Canada intends to award a contract for vehicle eligibility validation services to support the Electric Vehicle Affordability Program (EVAP). The contractor must provide secure, real-time access to Canadian vehicle registration and ownership data via a web-based portal, enabling verification of VINs, postal codes, province/territory of registration, and date of birth for individuals. EVAP runs until March 31, 2031, providing point-of-sale incentives for eligible zero-emission vehicles to individuals, businesses, and governments. This is an Advance Contract Award Notice (ACAN) indicating a pre-identified supplier, but other suppliers may submit statements of capabilities by the closing date.
