FRC seeks research on audit training for non-PIE firms.
The Financial Reporting Council (FRC) requires research services to conduct structured interviews with non-PIE (Public Interest Entity) UK audit firms. The project aims to gain insights into current approaches to training and barriers to effective training for pre-qualification education of statutory auditors. The sample will include firms that do and do not currently offer training. Deliverables include anonymized interview transcripts, an early indicative findings presentation by late September, and a final report by late December. The FRC will use anonymized findings in public documents.
