NZ Electricity Authority seeks MOSP services for electricity market operations.
The Electricity Authority Te Mana Hiko (New Zealand) is procuring five Market Operation Service Provider (MOSP) services for the electricity market, with contracts starting July 2027. The services include Clearing Manager, FTR Manager, Reconciliation Manager, Registry Manager, and WITS Manager. The combined cost of these services was about $7 million in 2025/26. Contracts are proposed for up to nine years (initial three-year term plus two three-year extensions). Proposals are evaluated on experience, system enhancements, delivery capability, project management, IT security, and collaboration. Deadline for proposals is 30 September 2026.
