Health New Zealand (Te Whatu Ora) seeks a lead contractor for remediation of the Waikato Hospital helipad, which handles ~1,700 landings annually and supports Emergency Department, ICU, and NICU operations. The work involves repairing widespread asphalt cracking (up to 10 mm), localized timber retaining wall damage from scour and ground movement, subsidence, surface deformation, and slope erosion. The contractor must have demonstrated capability operating within a live helipad and 24/7 hospital environment, and maintain public liability insurance of at least $50 million per occurrence.
