NHS framework for medical pulp products, 48 months, £100-120M.
NHS Supply Chain, through SUPPLY CHAIN COORDINATION LIMITED, is establishing a non-exclusive framework agreement for the supply of Medical Pulp and Associated Products, including disposable medical pulp, support products, macerators, bedpan washers, and absorbent products. The framework will run for 48 months with an estimated total expenditure of £100-120 million (excl./incl. VAT). Suppliers must hold Employer's, Public, and Product Liability Insurance of £5m per claim, ISO 9001:2015 or ISO 13485:2016 accreditation, and UKCA/CE certification where applicable. The procurement is assessed as medium risk for modern slavery, requiring completion of the Modern Slavery Assessment Tool and evidence review. The invitation to tender is expected in September 2026.
