PME for 6-8 new nursing homes in Hertfordshire under Social Investment Model.
Hertfordshire County Council is conducting a Prior Market Engagement (PME) for the Development of Nursing Home Care Provision in Hertfordshire programme. The Council seeks feedback from care providers to shape options and requirements for a Social Investment Model to deliver 6-8 new nursing homes. Under this model, investors/developers fund and build homes, the Council enters long-term leases, and sub-leases to registered care providers for nursing dementia care with LA-allocated beds. The aim is to expand nursing bed capacity, improve sustainability, and provide modern, affordable accommodation. Participation in PME does not affect future procurement eligibility.
