Regional framework for adult care home services in West Wales.
Carmarthenshire County Council, in collaboration with Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion County Councils, is establishing a regional framework for working age adult care home services across West Wales. The framework is divided into three lots: Learning Disabilities (including Autism), Mental Health, and Physical Disabilities. Providers must have an existing care home in the region or intend to establish one within 12 months. The framework is a Light Touch Contract under the Procurement Act 2023, with potential for periodic refresh. A tender workshop is scheduled for 30 July 2026.
