DfE seeks expert advisers for children's social care reform.
The Department for Education is establishing a pool of Children's Social Care Expert Advisers under Lot 14 of the ECSC Dynamic Framework. These advisers will replace Commissioners and Advisers to drive reform in failing local authorities. The role involves conducting diagnostics, developing improvement plans, and overseeing implementation. Advisers must have extensive sector experience and will work closely with the Lead EA and DfE regional teams. The framework is open to individual experts who can commit to diagnostic periods of approximately 40 days.
