Technology Enabled Care Service for vulnerable residents in Herefordshire.
Herefordshire Council and NHS Herefordshire and Worcestershire Integrated Care Board jointly commission a Technology Enabled Care Service (TECS) for vulnerable residents across Herefordshire. The service includes supply, installation, maintenance, and monitoring of technology-enabled care equipment, community equipment, daily living aids, and minor adaptations, plus collection, cleaning, refurbishment, and recycling of equipment. The contract is an 18-month direct award valued at an unknown amount, commencing 1 August 2025 and expiring 31 March 2027. Continuity is critical to prevent avoidable hospital admissions and support independent living.
