11,000 tonnes surplus armour rock for sale from harbour project.
The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE), on behalf of Crown Regional Holdings Limited, is offering approximately 11,000 tonnes of surplus armour rock for sale. The rock was sourced from regional quarries and used for breakwater walls and embankment protection in the Ōpōtiki Harbour Development Project. This one-time sale is open to respondents seeking quality materials for coastal defence, embankment protection, or large-scale infrastructure projects. Site visits are available upon request with pre-registration required. The tender is open from 25 September 2025 to 25 September 2026.
