The New Zealand Transport Agency (Waka Kotahi) seeks a pre-qualified contractor for replacement or extension of three retaining walls on SH43. Two walls near Whangamomona (27m and 11m) and one at Tangarakau Gorge (5m extension) involve steel or timber soldier piles with tie-back anchors, plus associated drainage and pavement works. Only tenderers pre-qualified to Construction Level C (4C) under the Transport Agency's Prequalification System are eligible. Non-price attributes are pass/fail. Contract value is not disclosed but likely in the hundreds of thousands to low millions NZD.
