SH1 Cambridge to Piarere Expressway Online Section – Physical Works (Shortlisting)

NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi invites Registrations of Interest (ROI) from prequalified consortia for the online section of the SH1 Cambridge to Piarere Expressway Project. The project involves constructing a 6.4 km four-lane expressway, a grade-separated interchange at Karāpiro Road, realignment of local roads, two overpass bridges, retaining walls, a major culvert, stormwater ponds, and a wetland. Only tenderers prequalified to Level 3A (Bridge and Structure), Construction Level 4A, and Surfacing Level 2A under the HNO Prequalification System are eligible. The contract uses a Measure & Value model, and shortlisting is expected by 30 June 2026.
