Intertidal rock monitoring survey for Wash and North Norfolk Coast SAC.
Natural England is commissioning a survey to monitor the intertidal rock sub-feature of the Wash and North Norfolk Coast Special Area of Conservation (SAC) against five attributes. The project aims to collect evidence to fill current gaps and verify existing data, supporting statutory monitoring and condition assessment. Deliverables include a report with high-quality biotope data identified to EUNIS Habitat Classification levels 5 and 6, describing biological community distribution. Surveys must be conducted between mid-April and mid-October, with a final report due by February 2027. The contract is valued below the threshold and open to competition.
