Evidence review on nature-based interventions for ecosystem services and risk reduction.
Natural England's Natural Capital Team is commissioning an evidence review to assess the confidence with which nature-based interventions deliver specific ecosystem services and benefits and reduce nature-related risks. The review will build on the State of Natural Capital Report for England 2024, focusing on priority actions for nature recovery. Objectives include evaluating confidence in outcomes for a framework of interventions, clarifying the relationship between interventions and ecosystem functions, and providing decision-useful evidence for sectors such as environmental practitioners, business, planning, and green finance. The contract is below the threshold and open to competition.
