NIST seeks narrow linewidth laser sources.
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is seeking sources for a narrow linewidth laser system. The laser must have a linewidth less than 1 kHz, output power greater than 10 mW, and wavelength tunability in the 1550 nm range. The system should include a fiber-coupled output and be compatible with standard telecom equipment. This is a sources sought notice for market research purposes only; no contract will be awarded from this notice. Interested vendors must demonstrate capability to meet the specifications.
