Research relating to the impacts of the minimum wage, 2-year projects (open call)

The Low Pay Commission (LPC) invites tenders for research projects on the impacts of the National Living Wage and National Minimum Wage, with up to three projects to be commissioned. Projects must deliver final results by Autumn 2028, with budgets between £60,000 and £100,000 (excluding VAT). The research should fill gaps in understanding minimum wage impacts since 2019, leveraging new data sources or linking existing data. Bidders must submit a complete tender addressing quality criteria (understanding, methodology, ability to deliver) and provide a pricing schedule. The LPC is a UK non-departmental public body advising the government on minimum wage rates.
