Heavy maintenance for Class 80x trains, removal/refit/logistics only.
First Trenitalia West Coast Rail Limited is procuring heavy maintenance services for Class 80x trains, due approximately March 2028. The scope includes level 5 activities such as horn replacement, bogie work, pantograph overhaul, ETCS signal repeater overhaul, and GU minor overhaul (805 specific). The contractor will handle removal, refit, and logistics, while materials are supplied under an existing TSSSA. No component overhaul activities are included. The contract is for a single train fleet and requires experience with similar heavy maintenance.
