The National Library of Scotland seeks a supplier to provide, install, and maintain a film scanner for digitizing 16mm, standard 8mm, super 8mm, and 9.5mm film gauges, with an option for 35mm. The equipment must handle delicate, warped, or brittle film and synchronize optical and magnetic sound. One system will be purchased for use at the Library's Kelvin Hall premises in Glasgow. Suppliers must demonstrate experience in film digitization and gentle film handling.
