Health New Zealand (Te Whatu Ora) seeks proposals for peer-led mental health and addiction crisis support services in Northland. The procurement covers three lots: Lot 1 - Peer Support Specialists in Whangārei Hospital Emergency Department; Lot 2 - Crisis Recovery Café in Whangārei; Lot 3 - Crisis Recovery Café in Mid-North. Providers must demonstrate lived experience grounding, cultural responsiveness, and integration with local health services. The contract aims to reduce ED presentations and improve recovery pathways.
