Youth work services in London hospitals to support violence-affected young people.
The Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC), through the Violence Reduction Unit (VRU), seeks providers for hospital-based youth work services across London. The service embeds youth workers in Major Trauma Centres and A&E departments to support young people aged 11-25 who are victims of violence or exploitation, offering emotional and practical support, advocacy, and safeguarding. The contract is divided into four geographical lots, with an initial value of £4,633,792 for 27 months (January 2027 – March 2029), extendable by up to 24 months. Bidders must demonstrate local community connections and may bid as consortia.
