Fire Extinguisher Hydrostatic Testing

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in Gaithersburg, MD requires hydrostatic testing of fire extinguishers. The contractor must test various types of extinguishers in accordance with NFPA 10 and DOT 49 CFR standards. The work includes disassembly, testing, reassembly, and certification.
