KiwiRail Group seeks a contractor to construct duct routes and install 33kV and 11kV cables between the Electra Paekākāriki Zone Substation, Paekākāriki Traction Substation, and the new North Junction TSS in the Wellington Electrified Area. The work supports the new RS1 train timetable by Greater Wellington Regional Council, requiring five new substations for increased electric trains. The contractor must have strong civil construction expertise and proven experience in high-voltage cable installation and pulling. Work will be primarily mid-week with weekend requirements during 'Block of Lines' within the rail corridor.
