LGA seeks up to two Children's Services Governance Advisers for councils.
The Local Government Association (LGA) seeks up to two experienced Children's Services Governance Advisers to support councils across nine regions in strengthening governance for children's services and SEND delivery. Advisers will work with elected members, senior officers, and system partners, focusing on governance improvement, political leadership, partnership governance, and network development. The role requires strong professional credibility, political awareness, and significant experience in children's services governance. Contracts run until 31 March 2027 with possible one-year extension, each comprising up to 60 days of work.
