Stevenage Borough Council is leading a procurement for weed spray application services across two lots: Lot 1 for Stevenage Borough Council and Lot 2 for East Hertfordshire District Council. The scope includes treating hard footpaths, kerb channels, central reservations, underpasses, traffic islands, shrub beds, and cemeteries (Lot 1) or footpaths, hard standings, kerbed areas, roundabouts, and channeled roads (Lot 2). Each lot requires two set treatments per year with potential for an additional treatment at the council's discretion. The initial contract period is two years with an option to extend up to one additional year, for a maximum duration of three years. Bidders may apply for either or both lots, and each lot will be awarded separately. Tenders must be submitted via the Supply Hertfordshire e-tendering portal, with a separate Social Value submission required.
