Three waste service contracts: collection, recycling processing, facility operations.
Waikato District Council is seeking proposals for district-wide waste services, excluding Raglan, under three contracts: Contract 1 (Collection Services) for kerbside waste and recycling collection including monthly pop-up recycling locations, with a 10-year term; Contract 2 (Recyclables Processing) for processing and sale of recyclables at the Council's facility, also 10-year term; Contract 3 (Facility Operations) for operating two existing transfer stations and a new Resource Recovery Centre, with a 3-year term plus two 1-year extensions. The procurement aims to consolidate services into a single contract for value for money. Bidders may propose for one or more contracts. Deadline is 22 June 2026.
