NIST seeks two wavelength-locked laser systems for precision measurement.
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) seeks to procure two wavelength-locked laser systems for use in precision measurement and quantum research. The systems must include a laser head, controller, and wavelength locker with specific performance parameters: output power ≥20 mW, wavelength stability ≤1 MHz over 24 hours, and a tuning range of at least 10 nm. Offerors must demonstrate experience in manufacturing similar laser systems and provide a warranty of at least one year. The contract is expected to be a firm-fixed-price purchase order with delivery to Gaithersburg, MD within 12 weeks of award.
