NHS England seeks academic delivery for HSST programme, 13 lots, £42M.
NHS England Workforce, Training and Education is re-procuring the Higher Specialist Scientist Training (HSST) academic delivery programme. The programme consists of 13 lots, and suppliers may bid for one or more lots. The initial contract term is 5 years, with an optional 2-year extension. Total funding is £42,186,230.80 to train up to 1,277 learners. Maximum price per learner is £25,275.60 for Life Sciences and £37,915.00 for Non-Life Sciences (excluding VAT). Bids must be submitted via the NHSE e-tendering portal by 4 September 2026.
