DfE seeks enrichment partners for free breakfast clubs.
The Department for Education (DfE) seeks partners to provide enrichment resources for its free breakfast club programme, which aims to help pupils start the day ready to learn. The programme has already rolled out to 750 early adopter schools (April 2025) and 500 more (April 2026), with further expansion in September. Partners are invited to offer physical resources (toys, board games, activity kits, books, arts and crafts, sports equipment) or voucher-based options (gift cards, redeemable credits) for primary-aged pupils (Reception, KS1, KS2) in categories such as creativity, outdoor exploration, physical activity, community connection, and life skills. Participation is voluntary for schools, and the opportunity is not subject to the Procurement Act 2023. Interested organisations should email breakfastclubs.partnering@education.gov.uk by 18 May 2026.
