The National Research Council Canada requires a large clamshell observatory dome that opens entirely for full sky tracking. The dome must have a freestanding base, total weight under 1,000 lbs, side door at least 28" x 68", clear usable height at least 3.5 m, and diameter between 3.6 m and 4 m to fit an existing platform. It must include motorized opening and computer interfacing for remote control. This procurement supports outdoor telescope experiments and research outcomes.
