Queenstown-Lakes District Council (QLDC) seeks quotations for the Sunshine Bay revetment project, an erosion control and beach improvement initiative on the lakeshore. The works include excavation of beach material, installation of rock revetment, formation of new beach accessways, improvements to the access road, carpark surfacing and stormwater formations, and installation of new signs and relocation of existing markers. The contractor must be suitably qualified and experienced in civil works, particularly erosion control projects in sensitive environments like lakeshores and popular visitor areas. Delivery must comply with Detailed Design drawings, consenting conditions, and QLDC's Land Development and Subdivision Code of Practice. No site visit is scheduled, but bidders are encouraged to inspect the public site.
