DVLA is tendering for a supplier to provide International Driving Permit (IDP) services across the UK. The service must support in-person transactions at widespread locations in England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland, issuing approximately 270,000 permits per year with 48 hours of service availability per week over 6 days. The contract includes a 4-month mobilisation period followed by a 3-year term, with no revenue during mobilisation. The fee per IDP is £5.50 (set by legislation), and the supplier retains the full fee, equating to potential income of £4.5M over the contract term. The current incumbent's contract expires on 31 March 2027.
