ACC seeks medical practitioners for impairment assessments nationwide.
The Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) of New Zealand seeks medical practitioners to provide independent permanent impairment assessments for clients with covered injuries. Assessments determine whole person impairment and eligibility for lump sum compensation or independence allowance under the Accident Compensation Act 2001. Applicants must hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate with the Medical Council of New Zealand and have substantial postgraduate clinical experience; vocational registration in Occupational Medicine, General Practice, or Psychiatry is preferred. Training in AMA4 guidelines will be provided. Existing contracted suppliers need not apply. The contract is open until November 2026.
